Vertical Fall Arrest Systems
Horizon won the tender to undertake the Installation of Vertical Fall Arrest Systems at various pumping stations and reservoir's in Kent.
This project involved the installation of SOLL Glideloc Vertical Fall Arrest Systems to comply fully with SOLL Glideloc installation manual to BS EN 353-1, providing protection in accordance with Working at Height Regulations recommendations. The Installation of Ladder Extensions, to enable access from ground level to structure top, in conjunction with Soll Glideloc fall arrest system.
Horizon were also required to install self-closing quotes and other ladder modifications, in order to improve access in general and in conjunction with Soll Glideloc fall arrest system / rescue from height. Anti-climb gates were also installed, to prevent the unauthorised access to the structures.
